This is the story of my gender transition.

Looking back, I understand that the disrespect I experienced from others and my own lack of confidence in myself fuelled my gender dysphoria. The process of change in itself proved powerful: I turned fear into determination, and my transition changed more than my physicality. While I was looking for love and acceptance from others, which I didn't always get, I did at last find love and acceptance from myself.

Who knows what the future will bring? For now, I made my body beautiful in my own light and know that I will keep growing as a person. I have found a solution which keeps me within my family, culture and religion. Above all, I have remained true to myself.
